Internet Marketing Strategy

The Internet marketing describes broadly how to get more targeted visitors to your website and how those visitors convert into customers. One of the main components of Inter is a crystal clear description of your objectives, what do you want to achieve with the website? The target group is carefully mapped and budgets, people and resources are known.

You should know how do you put more quality visitors to your website? And how you put the visitors up to the desired (trans) actions? Initially, as a marketer you should have a good overview of all online marketing resources that can be used to generate more visitors.

A marketing strategy is usually around the marketing of the four P's: Product, Price, Promotion en Place. For retailers, this is to include two additional elements: Store Design and Customer Service. These two are in the online world of interest in the form of Site Design and Customer Service. In total there are 10 such elements within the online marketing, which play an important role in Internet Marketing.

Below is a brief overview.
  • Product: The product range, services or activities of an organization.

  • Price: Price considerations that play online. Fixed price bids.

  • Promotion: Online promotion of your site.

  • Place: The place where the site is visible, for example via remote hosting or affiliate structures

  • Web Design: The homepage, navigation, layout, tools on the site, usability and technical search engine optimization, etc.

  • Customer Service: The online help features: FAQ's, e-mail, chat, etc.

  • Community: Visitors who are in contact with each other through blogs, social media and if the name of the site may hold high (user reviews, experiences etc.)

  • Personalization: Information provision per individual (site, mail, RSS, etc.), a relational database plays an important role

  • Privacy: Privacy for visitors, for example through opt-in/opt-out system for mailings.

  • Security:The safety data from visitors and transaction must be secured.
